Bio

Marva Moir is an exciting artist who has been given an opportunity to showcase her majestic oil painting talent to the public.

At a very young age Marva had a deep desire to draw and work with colors. She spent hours coloring in her collection of coloring books. When she was seven, she drew her first horse, which was so impressive, it went up on the wall for all to see. A hidden talent began to be revealed.

Marva was born in Toronto, Canada. As an adult she moved to Calgary, Alberta, with her husband and three children. There she attended a Bible Study taught by Ruby Shepard. Ruby had an art class in her home, which Marva attended. Ruby began to draw out Marva's God-given talent.

In her thirties she moved to Simi Valley, California where she began to teach teen's at an art studio. This is where she also painted her first two large landscape scenes, "Mountain's Mighty Face" and "Resting Place."

Marva now resides with her husband in California. After much creative work in stained glass and wallpaper, she is once again returning to her first love, painting.
